Planning Seminar

As a valued supporter of Tacoma Public Library, you're invited to a free interactive seminar on planning for your family, community, and future.

Whether you're just beginning to think about legacy planning or looking for ways to make a lasting impact, this session will provide practical, tax-smart strategies and resources to help you align your charitable giving with your values.

Date: October 29, 2026
Location: Downtown Main Library, Cascade Room
Time: 4:00-5:30pm

A collaboration between the Tacoma Public Library Foundation, The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation, and Tacoma Public Library.

Join us for an engaging discussion on creating a charitable legacy that reflects your values and goals.  Through an interactive Foundations and Futures activity, practical resources like “The Giving Guidebook”, and real-life stories, you'll explore simple, tax-smart giving strategies, including estate planning, gifts of appreciated assets, IRA giving, donor-advised funds, and life income gifts. Our goal is to educate, not persuade. We will provide practical information, resources, and planning tools.  Whether you're just beginning to think about these topics or already have plans in place, you'll leave with useful insights and resources.

Please  RSVP to tplfoundation253@gmail.com if you plan to attend
